General Contracting

Quality General has an ABC contractor license, holding specialty licenses in all masonry types.  The ABC license allows us to construct civil, residential, and commercial projects.  Over the last decade we have focused our efforts to better diversify ourselves in general contracting.  With our in-house staff of engineers we have developed a construction team that assists design consultants in developing functional and economical projects.  At Quality General, we are one of the few general contractors that self performs its own concrete and masonry work.  This allows us to deliver projects on time and on budget.  Self performance of concrete and masonry work can be up to 30% of the contract amount, thus giving us the following advantages:

• Greater control and accelerated construction schedules since our own crews are on site for the majority of the project duration.
• Increased bid advantage since we do not assess an additional subcontractor mark up on our own self performed work.
• Better coordination with specialty subcontractors like electricians and plumbers since we truly understand foundation and wall construction.
• We selectively bid general projects that utilize concrete and/or masonry construction in the majority of its building system.
• Our 2.4 acre baseyard in Halawa allows for better material procurement and scheduling as we are able to accept larger deliveries throughout the duration of a project.
